David A. Laws is a 40-plus year veteran of Silicon Valley. He worked in roles from junior engineer to CEO at semiconductor companies, including Fairchild, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Altera. Today he is a business consultant, travel writer, and semiconductor curator at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
